On behalf of our client, a leader in the field of solar energy, we are looking for a new team member as the Head of Development – Manufacturing Equipment to start as soon as possible or upon agreement. In this role, you will manage and inspire engineering teams in developing a state-of-the-art equipment solution. You will play a key role in helping team to deliver excellent project results while working closely with teams across different departments.
 
Your responsibilities:

• Planning and implementing the equipment development plans and specific requirements


• Planning manufacturing expansions and strategic equipment sourcing


• Managing full cycle product and project management (including prototyping) 


• Providing technical specifications and equipment documentation


• Analyzing upcoming technology trends and evaluating core suppliers

 

Your profile:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical formulation


• Minimum two years of professional experience in the field of equipment development, (e.g. mechanical design, vacuum technology, technical documentation)


• Ability of quick comprehension and recognition of correlations


• Strong intercultural competences and entrepreneurial thinking


• Excellent communications skills and ability to implement strategic plans


• Fluent in English both verbally and in written, German language is a strong advantage


• Outstanding networking skills and capabilities as a team player
