Team Leader Engine Documentation


Responsibilities



  • Team leader / editor-in-chief for the technical 2-stroke large engine documentation

  • Ensuring the timely preparation of operation, maintenance and spare parts documentation for new engines and updating the existing documentation

  • Development and optimisation of new concepts and processes, taking into account the latest developments in technical documentation practice

  • Active participation in the creation and updating of the documentation using an editorial guide based on "Controlled English" (ASD-STE100).

  • Responsibility for embedding the documentation in the "Product Lifecycle Management", as well as independent information research in the specialist departments

  • Structured and target group-oriented preparation of information

  • Ensuring quality from a factual and legal aspect


Requirements



  • Technical editor with many years of industrial experience in mechanical engineering or the marine sector.

  • Very good English skills are required (minimum C1).

  • Knowledge of XML editors and experience with XML-based editorial systems.

  • Knowledge of the S1000D standard is of advantage.
