Team Leader Engine Documentation
Responsibilities
Team leader / editor-in-chief for the technical 2-stroke large engine documentation
Ensuring the timely preparation of operation, maintenance and spare parts documentation for new engines and updating the existing documentation
Development and optimisation of new concepts and processes, taking into account the latest developments in technical documentation practice
Active participation in the creation and updating of the documentation using an editorial guide based on "Controlled English" (ASD-STE100).
Responsibility for embedding the documentation in the "Product Lifecycle Management", as well as independent information research in the specialist departments
Structured and target group-oriented preparation of information
Ensuring quality from a factual and legal aspect
Requirements
Technical editor with many years of industrial experience in mechanical engineering or the marine sector.
Very good English skills are required (minimum C1).
Knowledge of XML editors and experience with XML-based editorial systems.
Knowledge of the S1000D standard is of advantage.
