OTC Collateral Management analyst

Your tasks & responsibilities

• Manage Collateral Management tasks including margin calls, dispute management, collateral and interest settlement


• Setting up of collateral agreements and trade reconciliation 


• Be a subject matter expert within the Collateral Practice and provide comprehensive, in-depth consulting and leadership to team and partners at a technical level


• In-depth knowledge of Collateral Management including IM and VM CSA documentation


• Ensure end to end workflow for Collateral Management operations is completed and compliance with regulatory requirements and clearing house’s rule


• Leading and collaborate in different projects (e.g. Initial Margin)


• Challenge the status-quo and strive for process improvements


• Ensure timely escalation of any issues to Operations, Front Office, Risk and IT

Our requirements

• Minimum three year experience in financial services industry


• Proven track record in Collateral Management in a fast paced client-focused, deadline-oriented environment


• Strong Leadership skills gained through leading projects


• Good knowledge of derivatives products, their structures, behaviours and associated life cycle events


• Confidence to discuss and articulate the different derivatives functions and operational processes with subject matter experts and senior management


• Exceptional self-starting skills, attention to detail and an ability to manage simultaneous activities through to resolution


• A strong knowledge of current regulatory requirements


• Knowledge of triResolve and AcadiaSoft MarginSphere is preferred
