Executive Marketing Communications Officer DECH


Reporting to the Marketing Director Applications for Germany and Switzerland (DECH), you are responsible for the execution of campaigns and events for a subset of our client's applications. The role involves close collaboration with main stakeholders, i.e. EMEA Marketing Team, Sales Development Managers, ABM Inside Sales, Marketing Inbound Team, Alliances & Channel and Global Marketing Shared Services (GMSS). Good project management and communication skills are required to ensure that pan-European programs such as digital marketing campaigns are integrated in the overall marketing strategy for DECH, localized and executed properly. You will be based in our client's Baden office, Switzerland.


Main Responsibilities



  • Execution of events and other activities for both Customer Experience (CX) and Human Capital Management (HCM) solutions

  • Generation of qualified sales leads working closely with the inbound marketing team

  • Setting up social media campaigns to boost planned events

  • Design and execution of email nurturing programs

  • Support for Account-based Marketing activities

  • Increase of marketing influenced pipeline by tracking results and closely working with Sales

  • Improvement of volume and data quality of target groups (reachable contacts) by running relevant programs to increase the number of contacts and opt-ins

  • Review and localization of regional campaigns for the German and the Swiss market

  • Governance for the execution across all campaigns and tactics incl. tracking results and reporting to regional marketing and sales leaders

  • Close collaboration with the Global Marketing Shared Services (GMSS) center and Marketing Operations

  • Alignment with other marketing departments such as Tech Marketing, Digital Marketing, Industry Marketing, PR and Corporate Advertising to ensure programs are fully integrated.


 Qualifications and required skills



  • Graduate degree or advanced certification in marketing

  • Capability to manage projects with multiple stakeholders and with attention to detail

  • Knowledge of versatile modern marketing disciplines incl. appropriate experience and qualifications such as Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Social Media, etc.

  • Experience in B2B Marketing, preferably also in Account-based Marketing

  • Experience in planning, creating, executing and following up demand generation campaigns such as digital marketing campaigns, events, email nurturing, etc.

  • Analytics and problem-solving skills

  • Proven experience in budget management and tracking results against KPIs

  • Experience of working with third party suppliers and managing agencies

  • Ability to work effectively in a large organization

  • Team player with excellent communication skills

  • Confident personality with proactive, self-reliant work style 

  • Good written and verbal communication in German & English

  • Advanced user in Microsoft Office modules


Annual salary ca. CHF 90'000.
