Solution Architect Wealth Management & Advisory


Our client is on the search for a Solution Architect in the wonderful city center of Zurich!

Project information:


Our client a bank has embarked on an ambitious digital transformation initiative to bring our digital client experience to the next level. The initiative encompasses their private banking and intermediaries businesses globally. They are growing their team and are looking for individuals who want to actively shape the digital future of our client, an international reference in Private Banking. As a member of the Front Application delivery unit, you will act as a Solution Architect for projects in a dynamic and fast-paced team. You will work closely with project manager, software development, business analysts and operations experts to drive the delivery of the roadmap for the journey ahead of us, to enable further digital services and offerings to our clients.


Responsibilities:



  • Solution Architect within the Wealth Management & Advisory domain, ensuring delivery of artefacts defined along project methodology (solution design, security concepts)


  • Stakeholder Management, incl. strong interaction with our partners from central architecture, security, and operations.  


  • Decision Board (e.g. STC) preparation in terms of architectural items  


  • Specification of conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial, and technology objectives  


  • Assist solution development and potentially demonstrate technical feasibility through mechanisms including proof-of-concepts within bank providers  


  • Provide comprehensive architectural support for all aspects to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and also consider harmonization in landscape wherever applicable  


  • Work closely with business and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution


  • Validate functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management  


  • Conduct evaluation of new technology platforms and components and be the primary interface to product /technology vendors



Must have:



  • Demonstrated expertise as a Solution Architect in the area of Wealth Management & Advisory


  • Strong understanding of financial markets, financial instruments, and portfolio management


  • Strong experience with IT security standards and integration of client-facing web applications


  • Strong expertise with web application architecture and development  


  • Ability to define, document and/or validate logical and physical architecture for a proposed solution, applying all relevant enterprise and bank defined standards  


  • Ability to translate complex concepts into multiple architectural “views” aimed at varying audiences  


  • A proven track record in delivering projects of various sizes (functional complexity and/or resources)  


  • Experience in Enterprise Service Bus integration, REST/API integration


  • Expert knowledge in IT operations, Agile Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle, and Systems Architectures



Nice to have:


Deep knowledge and understanding of Private Banking  


 


Certificates and trainings as a must:



  • Higher education in computer science / Business Informatics  


  • Expert knowledge in the design of business object model and transformation of conceptual models into physical data models  


  • Track record in the development of applications that include long running concurring human centric workflows  


  • Sound understanding of rule engines



Soft Skills:



  • Strong communication skills (fluent in German and English)  


  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and knowledge transfer skills  


  • Self-driven, independent working abilities, teamplayer, hands-on mentality, comfortable with driving and managing change
