As Digital Consultant, you will play a key role in driving Avaloq’s agenda to write the future of banking by identifying, designing and advocating intelligent digital services which include components across the AI/ML and cutting-edge technology spectrum. You will use your extensive expertise on those topics to contribute to a seamless financial experience across Avaloq’s products and services, closely collaborating with clients and stakeholders across Avaloq on senior management and operational level. A balanced mix of strategic and analytical capabilities as well as a hands-on attitude are key for the success of the role.
Your profile
Proactively identifying opportunities and use cases for the financial industry, liaising with relevant stakeholders and developing solution concepts using elements from across the AI/ML and cutting-edge technology spectrum
Developing business cases and go-to-market strategies for new business opportunities
Identifying relevant capabilities that should be delivered through strategic partners/vendors and liaising with them to assess opportunities for collaboration
Managing digital innovations and providing leadership to drive the realization of new intelligent digital services
Liaising with relevant stakeholders to define and drive Avaloq’s intelligent digital services strategy and roadmap
Supporting the development of prototypes and proofs of concept
Support and teach clients and colleagues in the use of AI/ML, data and cutting-edge technologie
Professional requirements
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Artificial Intelligence or a related discipline
3+ years of experience in the financial services industry and in (technology) consulting
Relevant work experience with a focus on AI/ML and cutting-edge technologies
Experience in collaborating with senior leadership, clients, business and IT
Strong client-centric mindset and a high level of business acumen
Proven experience in applying AI/ML to business problems
Ability to quickly understand and evaluate innovative ideas in the digital spectrum
Good understanding of technological enablers for creating a seamless customer experience
Strong oral, written and presentation skills
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
Experience with AI/ML platforms and frameworks, e.g. AWS, Watson, Tensorflow, Keras, Pytorch, Caffe, etc. is a plus
Work experience in the financial industry or in financial/technology consulting is a plus
Fluent in German and English
