Our customer, a leading international pharmaceutical company with headquarters in Basel, is looking for a motivated
CAD Designer
Your main tasks:
• Work with your team to develop complex mechanical products
• Create detailed CAD models and drawings of components, including proper dimensioning and tolerances
• Work with suppliers to incorporate feedback on manufacturing processes and inspection dimensions
• Manage CAD Product Data Management database
Your background:
You have at least four years of experience in product design, with a focus on plastic components. This must include an understanding of the injection molding process and how to design for high volume production. Furthermore, you fulfil following requirements:
• Experience in Product Design and Design for Manufacturing, specifically with Injection Molding
• Experience in Solidworks or other similar CAD package
• Experience working in Product Data Management (PDM) systems, such as Enterprise PDM or Windchill
• Understanding of tolerance analysis and dimensioning and tolerancing standards
• Good organization and communication skills in English
• Experience in medical device or pharma industry is a plus
• Advanced degree not required
Assignment start: asap
Assignment duration: 6 months with a very good chance for prolongation
Workload: 100% (40h/week)
Workplace: Basel
