A meaningful and exciting position as Cloud Engineer within Hosting Services (HS) that is an internal hosting provider within Credit Suisse and our customers are all the business units. HS is responsible for a cutting edge private cloud platform which has been rolled out across EMEA, APAC, CH, AM and running close to fifteen thousand virtual machines. Pivotal Cloud Foundry and Public Cloud are the big projects for this year and lots of self-service will be developed for our customers.

The work involves designing and prototyping iteratively alongside our Application Development (AppDev) teams. The end product has to be robust, functional, flexible, high quality, allows for innovation and empowers our AppDev teams to deliver solutions quickly to our businesses.
You are responsible for the strategic management of our Cloud, Devops, Service delivery and integration teams
You will drive consensus within engineering teams, Product managers and Technical Domain Architects and you are responsible for leading all technical aspects that enable successful building, deploying and testing of software
You will partner with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions to our internal customers, and will focus on collaborative wins with an emphasis on iterative value delivery.
You Offer
Bachelor Degree in Computer information technology or equivalent.
You bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience with DevOps models, CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins and configuration mgmt such as Puppet, Salt, Satellite or Ansible.
You can convince us with development experience in JavaScript, Python, Ruby or any other scripting languages (PowerShell, Perl, Bash).

Are you a true teammate with excellent problem solving (RCA / Documentation) skills and strong communication skills?
If you have experience working in Agile (Scrum) Teams and experience using Cloud Management Platform on VMware vRealize Automation and VMware vRealize Orchestrator, specifically blueprint and automation workflows then this is advantageous but not mandatory.
Any Experience with Cloud Foundry or OpenShift (Kubernetes) preferred, and deep understanding of Docker & LXC and applicable use cases as well as strong engineering experience on Linux, Windows and or ESX with strong background in network, security, storage and DNS are also optinal but no key requirements for this role.
