This position offers an excellent opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded legal coun-sel that is interested in co-designing and enhancing the legal, risk and compliance framework in connection with the Bank’s newly created Region Intermediaries & Global Custody. The ideal candidate appreciates interdisciplinary work with a global reach, is experienced in driving projects, knows how to successfully handle change management and to present efficient solutions to senior management.

IHRE AUFGABEN

• Co-shaping and enhancing the risk governance and risk framework in the newly created Region Intermediaries & Global Custody , taking into consideration the special risks inherent in this field of business, the groups’ risk management framework, existing resources, IT capabilities (digitalization), market trends and stakeholder needs


• Support the implementation and control of global standards and policies


• Developing strategic options and concise documentation for the GC Private Banking & CRO Intermediaries , the regional risk committees and key stakeholders


• Develop, oversee and help implementing legal programs, processes and projects that support the Region’s vision and the overall goals of the CRO division


• Close collaboration with the Business Management team of the Region as well as stakeholders in the General Counsel, Risk and Compliance departments


• Provide support in connection with internal and external audits


• Training of the Bank’s Employees on special legal topics

IHRE FÄHIGKEITEN

• Degree in law (university or university of applied sciences); additional qualifications (e.g. bar exam, LL.M., MBA) would be an asset


• Experience in a CRO function (risk, legal, compliance) with a bank or an independent asset manager or as a legal counsel with a law firm


• Good knowledge of banking regulation and contract law


• Excellent communication and social skills


• Self-motivated, well-organised, team-oriented and hands-on personality with the capability of coping with pressure and multiple tasks


• Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills


• Fluent in German and English
