The Position Engineering R&D group is responsible for developing precise positioning solutions for Leica Geosystems’ GNSS product portfolio. We are currently searching for a GNSS positioning algorithms specialist with software engineering experience to work on our current and next generation GNSS positioning technology.

GNSS Positioning Algorithms Engineer (f/m)

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL INCLUDE:

• Maintain and improve existing commercial software solutions for high-precision GNSS positioning and measurement correction services;


• Engineer new OOP software solutions in C++ for RTK, Network RTK and PPP applications;


• Maintain and improve multi-core and multi-threaded software architecture;


• Test new software and algorithm solutions; and


• Interface with the product management team throughout the product development lifecycle.
