We are looking for full time Supply Chain Intern for at least 6 months, to join the team at On HQ in Zurich. These roles are for young professionals who have an interest to develop their business acumen by being in the very center of operations. Specific opportunities will be in areas including 1) Supply Planning & OEM Management, 2) Business Forecasting & Demand Planning, 3) Procurement & Quality Control, and 4) Logistics. The trainees will be important members of the Supply Chain team, providing daily support and work in close collaboration with the other teams at On globally, esp. Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, IT and Development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage data integrity on ERP, PLM (Product Life Management), forecasting & logistics platforms


• Monitor, analyze, and report data across the whole value chain from budgeting, forecasting


• and planning, production, logistics, inventory, sell-in and sell-through, of both merchandise and non-merchandise products


• Collaborate with internal and external teams to make continuous improvement to existing processes


• Participate and take real ownership from the beginning in cross-functional processes and support the team with ad-hoc projects


• Actively support planning process by providing business insight using state of the art business intelligence tools

• Bachelor degree (last year of study is equally fine); you don’t have to be a natural science or engineering major but you are a friend of data and analysis.


• You are process driven and used to work that requires attention to detail


• Thanks to your strong communication skills you find it easy to formulate and share your findings with the team


• Strong analytical and organizational mind with pronounced business acumen; for most of the positions / projects, you must be very comfortable with a large number of data sets and are keen to understand the “so-what” beneath the numbers themselves


• Ability to think one step ahead and to take initiative, to multi-task and prioritize, and to react in an energetic and fast-paced environment


• Specific experience in supply chain is not required: interest and capability to learn fast are more important than experience, basic knowledge of retail, sales & operations planning, logistics, ERP/PLM is a plus


• You and IT are good friends? Great! Help us analyze large scale data sets and provide accurate and relevant conclusions applying your knowledge on DB script language / syntax


• Proficiency in English, additional languages are not required


• Proficiency in Excel strongly preferred
