Roche Diagnostics has built a new strategic area charged with creating a modern portfolio of decision support software products that change the way patients are cared for. Our challenge is to bring together complex diagnostic and treatment data from medical devices and IT systems within a hospital and intelligently process and present this data to clinicians, researchers, and caregivers to improve research outcomes and patient care.
As the Population Health Science (PHS) Team Leader, you are responsible for providing scientific leadership in conducting Real-World Data studies, leading a team of Quantitative Scientists and Data Analysts in Diagnostics Information Solutions (DIS) for generating real-world evidence required to support Roche IVD and CDS portfolio and act as a subject matter expert as well as a key partner for strategic portfolio planning and execution within DIS. The studies support a spectrum of needs including but not limited to diagnostics product planning and prioritization, new product discovery, reimbursement and regulatory use.
In this position, you will continuously further develop and improve RWD study design, execution, and presentation processes and output quality of analysis results, ensure that they are adhering to industry standards and potentially re-define industry standards. You will rely on your industry expertise, analytical and skills and population health background and couple them with your ability to interact with other experts such as biostatisticians, clinical scientists and oncologists to ensure optimum medical value for Diagnostics business and other stakeholders is delivered. In order to be successful in this role, we believe you need to have experience in a team lead or leadership role along with at least 10+ years of relevant experience including designing and conducting observational studies and/or healthcare data analysis. At least 5 of these years should have been within the healthcare industry.
