The Position
This key role in ‘Product Information Management’ (PIM) sets out a broad range of activities in business analysis, project management and organizational engagement. It will allow you to interact and cooperate with key stakeholders in the global and local organization, drawing optimal visibility for yourself and the department.
PIM is an integral part of the “Business Process Management” organization within Roche Diagnostics global organisation ‘Solution Integration and Services’ (SIS).
Business Process Management as such enables seamless interaction and communication along processes, data, and systems. This increases efficiency, effectiveness, competitiveness and compliance. The team provides guidance and services in the area of business process management, including process methodologies and models for the Diagnostics Division. It also provides integrated best practice solutions to enable organisations to focus on their core activities.
The main responsibilities of this role are:
Conducting business analysis activities regarding existing (cross-functional) business processes at the interface with marketing, sales and service.
Technical analysis on data, data models, existing software solutions, implementations and business rules. Contribution to the definition of conceptual proposals, processes - and data modelling.
Management of a broad scope of project activities such as business case and requirements definition, data collection and migration, financial bookkeeping, time planning, resource planning, scope control, contractual negotiations, cross-functional global and local stakeholder management, organizational change management, etc.
Engagement and involvement of internal global and local customers, entailing the analysis of internal and external business demand, promotion of services and data offering driving future adoption.
Establishment of organizational product data maintenance and governance structures in business.
Proactive contribution to the strategic PIM roadmap.
Who you are
To be successful in this role, you have to bring:
Technical university degree in Informatics, (Medical) Engineering or comparable education
Minimum of 5 years experience in project management and SCRUM/Agile methodology
Expert know-how in business process management and product information management
Experience in leading large, global software oriented projects at the interface of business and technology
Experience with complex stakeholder management and organizational change management
Background in Healthcare and/or Medical Devices business (preferably laboratory solutions) with overall understanding of compliance rules and regulations is considered a plus
Knowledge about global healthcare data standards (e.g. LOINC, GS1) is considered a plus
Fluent in English (written and spoken) and ability to speak at least one other language (e.g. German)
Strong facilitation and presentation skills
Ability to travel up to 20% globally
The preferred location for this position is Rotkreuz, however the successful candidate could alternatively be located at one of the following sites: Basel, Mannheim.
