As Senior Compensation Partner you are part of Human Resource and you work in the local Total Rewards Team of the Site in Basel / Kaiseraugst.

As a Senior Comp Partner you are a member of the local Total Rewards team with responsibility to support the specific business functions at Headquarter. Your overall objective is to act as a sparring partner to global and local HRBP and Recruiters in all Compensation topics in order to support the Business on key talent priorities – attract, retain & engage


Your other responsibilities are:



  • Consult on Comp principles & processes, bring to bear & optimize existing practices, coordinate & align between Comp Partners at different sites and support in change management & communication

  • Act as ambassador for the function you represent, liaise with various partners to deliver innovative Comp solutions that fit the business

  • Help to prepare, coordinate and execute annual compensation review as well as off-cycle compensation needs

  • Support recruiters and HRBPs with offers for new hires and promotions

  • Provide regular internal analytics on compensation practices at individual or aggregate level; conduct market reviews to evaluate competitiveness at industry and country level

  • Design & deliver Comp training for HR professionals & line management

  • Support implementation of the Global Grading Project


Who you are

We believe to be successful in this position you should possess a University degree or equivalent.



  • You have 10 years’ experience in HR with a sound experience in total rewards.

  • Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry would be a plus.

  • You have strong communication & influencing skills for partner management and good team working skills.

  • Experience in a global environment and in sparring with Senior Management is essential.

  • Furthermore, you possess the following competencies: Analytic thinking, curiosity, the ability to think out of the box and find innovative solutions

  • Dedicated, pragmatic and result-oriented approach and the ability to deal with ambiguity and to work with a high degree of autonomy

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken; German is a big plus
