The Laboratory of Toxicology is searching for a Cell Culture Technician who will work in various aspects of cell culture and support of the laboratory.
Cell Culture Technician (80-100%) Primary job duties include: Being responsible for the overall maintenance of a cell culture lab, performing cell-based experiments, teaching new group members in cell culture work, and being the responsible biosafety officer (BSO) of the toxicology group. The successful candidate will have a either a master's degree in biology or a related field, or training as a laboratory technician. The person should have experience in mammalian tissue culture, be very organized, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and enjoy working collaboratively.
