To support our IT Solution Delivery Department within the FIFA HR & Services Division, FIFA is looking to recruit an experienced person with the ability to work in cross-divisional teams as a:
Senior Project Manager
Your duties


  • Provide on-site leadership for project team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, adhering to their responsibilities and project milestones

  • Manage all aspects of multiple related projects to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives

  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization (Department PM champion)

  • Lead and articulates the Steering Committee sessions presenting the program and/or project status

  • Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership

  • Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors, CIO and key stakeholders

  • Ensure that projects and programs are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget and quality standards
Our requirements


  • University degree or similar higher education, in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field

  • Minimum 15 years overall IT experience and minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in project management of complex solution implementation, product development and/or system integration projects.

  • In-depth understanding of systems development lifecycle (SDLC), business requirements elicitation, application development methodologies and enterprise architecture principles

  • Strong background and proven working knowledge in business analysis and application project management

  • Must have: Professional certifications in the area of project management i.e. PMI Project Management Professional (PMP), other PMI as a important plus (e.g. PgMP, PfMP, PBA, ACP, others)

  • Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across and down multiple business and technology organizations

  • Experience leading, motivating and managing various project and program team sizes, including internal and external resources, while holding team accountable for performance

  • Strong experience presenting to executive sponsors and demonstrated communication skills; both written and oral with technical and non-technical staff, all levels of management

  • Technically competent with various software platforms and development stacks, including but not limited to: ServiceNow, Microsoft .net, SharePoint, SAP

  • English language professional level and business fluency in at least a second FIFA official language (French, Spanish or German)
