To enhance our team, we are looking for a highly motivated, committed and proactive
Exhibition Coordinator (full time) (FIFA World Football Museum)
to join us on 1 May 2019 or by arrangement. In this exciting role you will coordinate all parties working on dedicated exhibition projects (permanent and temporary, domestic and international) to ensure smooth processes within the dedicated project team. You are responsible to make sure that new exhibitions or exhibition updates will be delivered on time, in the right quality and to full satisfaction of the different stakeholders.
Your responsibilities


  • Coordination of exhibition projects (domestic and international) of the museum from start to delivery

  • Ensuring that all parties are always up to date, know and meet their deadlines and tasks

  • Management of operations during exhibitions

  • Setting up and tracking of budget, including cost control

  • Procurement of all services and materials to be used in exhibitions

  • Monitoring and management of contracts for assigned projects

  • Overseeing implementation and checking delivered quality of subcontractors

  • Key contact for communications with partners and subcontractors

  • Identifying, analyzing and reporting of any risks that may arise

Our requirements


  • Proven experience (min. three years) and success in project coordination and in meeting deadlines in an event-based, fast-paced working environment is required, preferably in a museum environment

  • Experience in exhibition planning and implementation especially in the context of football history

  • Demonstrated knowledge of current practices in exhibitions management, design, and development

  • Strong understanding of the exhibition market and culture in the Middle East and Asia

  • A university degree in project management, museum studies, sports management, or equivalent degree/experience required

  • General knowledge football history, football culture and FIFA

  • A proactive, structured approach to work and the ability to prioritize tasks in accordance with the goals set out in the FIFA World Football Museum strategy

  • Language skills required: English (fluent in speaking and writing), fluency in an additional Asian language would be advantageous
