Bio-Rad is looking for a Supply Planner, 100% based in Cressier, Switzerland. 


 


Responsibilities



  • Creation of supply plan while coordinating day to day efforts between warehouse locations.

  • Utilize SAP for development and communication of finished goods supply plan.

  • Monitor the demand forecast, its changes as it relates to the impact of the supply plan.

  • Develop the analysis to understand the demand and supply relationship for the resources assigned.

  • Implement measures needed to optimize the demand and supply relationship.

  • Execute analytical and quantitative problem-solving techniques to meet business objectives as it relates to operational costs, service levels and inventory management.

  • Perform inventory management analysis necessary to control inventory balances that will meet customer demand without unnecessary carrying cost.

  • Participate in project management teams as needed.

  • Monitor and ensure the integrity and accuracy for relevant master data maintained in SAP (safety stock, cycle times, yields, BOM accuracy, effectivity dates, etc.) so that projected supply is as accurate as possible.

  • Participates in monthly S&OP process.


Qualifications



  • 1 to 3 years of experience in supply planning, inventory management or manufacturing operations in an ERP / DRP environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree or Swiss Federal Certificate in Supply Chain, Business, Management or other related field.

  • Fluent in French & English. German a plus. 

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Project management skills.

  • APICS certification is preferred.
