The product portfolio comprises IGBTs, IGCTs, Thyristors, GTOs and Diodes in the power range of 150 up to 12000 A and 200 up to 8500 V at the highest levels of quality. We are looking for a motivated semiconductor expert for the development of our new silicon and silicon-carbide products. Diversified tasks await you in the position as development engineer. Amongst others you will carry out product, technology, and process developments according to the development model. Aufgaben :


- Develop future generation of Silicon IGBTs and diodes as well as SiC MOSFETs
- Achieve project targets in a fast moving and dynamic environment
- Drive the product development path from the conceptual phase, through the characterization of functional prototypes up to the qualification of commercial samples
- Support the electrical and reliability assessment with your sound knowledge on semiconductor devices
- Support the colleagues from the production in the maintenance and continuous improvement of existing products
- Internally and externally present project results and provide innovation contribution by papers and patents


Anforderungen:


- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics plus PhD
- Expertise in semiconductor technologies and semiconductor physics
- Knowledge in semiconductor design and process preferably in the field of power devices
- Working knowledge of TCAD tools for physical device simulation advantageous
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken, good German desirable
- High curiosity and broad technical interest
