Controller Business Line Equipment


We look for an experienced Business Line Controller to support our Head of Business Unit Controlling Balzers Industrial Solutions. You will act as a business partner and professionally interact with operations, sales and cost center managers to effectively manage and control global and local budgets.


This position is temporary for 6 months and located in Balzers, Liechtenstein.


 


Responsibilities



  •  Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the financial and fiscal functions of the Business Line

  • Analyze business performance, recommend benchmarks, and highlight the key areas of improvement or monitoring

  • Act as a Business Partner – analyse and propose in the area of top line, margin and costs to improve the overall business performance

  • Timely provide the full set of monthly financial reporting to the BL Management

  • Apply and manage in coordination with BU Controlling processes in controlling and finance such like long term planning (5YBP), annual budgets, forecasts, business modelling, monthly closing processes and reporting, variance and analysis reporting, product costing, contribution reporting and others

  • Support and analyse investment decisions, evaluate capital expenditure and submissions

  • Is part of the Controlling community and coordinates Business Line activities among other Finance and Controlling Teams, primarily in the Business Unit


 


We expect



  • University Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business related field

  • min. 5 years experience in financial management, ideally in a manufacturing company

  • Good business acumen and proven track record in decision-making that positively impact financials

  • Good communicator (written, presentations, interpersonal exchange)

  • High degree of confidentiality and common sense

  • Good skills in aligning processes combined with the ability to engage others

  • Self-driven, open and positive mind-set ideally with experience in international and cross-cultural business environment

  • Dedicated, convincing personality that is able to integrate well into the team
