We are currently looking for a Category Development Analyst for the Thomy, Maggi and Le Parfait brands on the Swiss Market.
In this position, he/she will be acting as a category expert on all commercial levers. He/she will conduct shopper-data analysis for the relevant channels, develop and steer the strategic assortment list of priorities, channel-specific marketing below the line campaigns, POS material, lay-outing and optimal placement in store guidelines.
Key responsibilities
Define the assortment strategic priorities list for the priority Channel/Category and tracks its execution or highlight gaps
Lead Pre and Post evaluation of trade promotions/activities. Ensures promotional strategy is well executed
Support commercial planning process, develop and execute BTL instore brand plan. Identify and recommend most appropriate contact points, mechanism & POS material for shopper-based category activation
Create together with line Manager fact-based selling stories by providing relevant Category, Channel, Shopper and Customer insights. Includes areas of under/over performance, rationale & potential future opportunities for growth. Develop sales folder for existing and new products (innovations/renovations)
Provide input based on shopper insights in relevant processes, such as product assortment, planogram, etc.
Required profile
Bachelor's or Master's University degree in Marketing, Sales or equivalent
3 to 5 years of category management, sales, trade marketing, shopper marketing and/or marketing experience in FMCG, preferably in the food industry
