Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1) Receives enquiries from external stakeholders (e.g. physicians, pharmacists, patients) and internal departments (e.g. Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Marketing, Market Access) regarding established products and responds to enquiries by providing answers directly, or by obtaining necessary information from appropriate data source

2) Triages enquiries from external stakeholders regarding promoted products to the responsible Medical Advisor (MA) and/or Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL)

3) Manages the local Medical Information (MI) databases and creates, reviews as well as updates standard responses on a regular basis. Provides reports for reconciliation with Quality Assurance (QA) and Patient Safety departments to detect potential quality defects and adverse events reporting

4) Performs literature search activities for established products

5) Coordinates training activities for MI databases and educates other associates on how to respond to medical enquiries

6) Is a core member of the Established Medicines Committee (EMC) and assesses the local impact of global product portfolio Adjustments

7) Develops the long-term strategy for MI aligned with the needs of internal and external customers

8) Acts as lead country representative for pilot projects in MI for Novartis Switzerland and ensures ongoing quality control of MI activitiesMinimum requirements- University degree in pharmacy, medicine, veterinary medicine or life sciences with solid medical/technical background

- Fluent (written and spoken) in German, French and English Italian would be an asset

- Knowledge of pharmacological/medical terminology

- Excellent communications, interpersonal and negotiation skills

- Good leadership, management and planning skills

- Quality and focus oriented
