Tetra Pak Mid Europe is currently seeking for a qualified
 
Field Service Technician
 
for Customer Operations in Switzerland. The qualified candidate will be responsible to deliver technical products and support to our customers by providing, commissioning preventative maintenance and troubleshooting services. The position entails intensive travelling in the region (75 % of the time).


 


Key Responsibilities


 



  • Manage installations of filling lines - prepare customer site, set up the machine, build conveyors and provide support during the installation

  • Plan, coordinate and execute the planned preventive maintenance activities to a high standard and in line with agreed procedures, ensure effective and reliable operation of TP line equipment, reinstate the equipment into the production environment

  • Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve technical malfunctions and breakdowns. Conduct basic root cause analysis of the problem in order to ensure rapid resolution and/or escalation to appropriate colleagues

  • Reduce customers’ operational cost, ensure a high level of customer satisfaction

  • Support product creation and life- cycle management

  • Handle simple claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims according to the claims processes, including root cause analysis

  • Work in accordance with all safety regulations and requirements. Understand the importance of product quality and ensure a safe working culture in the team


Skills and Experience


 



  • Practical experience in similar duties with good hands-on skills

  • State Certified Engineer / Bachelor degree in Mechanical, electrical, automation or electrical engineering

  • Fluency in English and German language knowledge is a must

  • Genuine interest in technology and customer service with focus on quality

  • Willingness to travel extensively (75% of working time)

  • Dynamic, perseverant, growth and development oriented personality

  • Results oriented, team player, accountable and attitude

  • Ability to work independently and to handle/drive changes

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Customer focused attitude
