Finance Manager (Global System Access & Role Risk) 100% (m/f)

Job Summary


In this multifaceted position you will be able to demonstrate your strong organizational and analytical skills and express your natural aptitude for working in a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for consulting and assisting all business units and legal entities as the organization’s primary user access and role risk manager. Furthermore, you will be providing execution cover over system role creation and provisioning as well as assisting with monitoring of periodic user assigned access of those roles within each system.


Your main responsibilities:


  • Enterprise wide responsibility for performing periodic role provisioning, user assignment and system security and controls reviews

  • Consult and assist with the SOX 404 preparation and control testing, related to user access, segregations of duties, import control applications, interface controls and security

  • Conduct risk and control validation procedures to determine operational effectiveness and assess the potential impact of control exceptions

  • Identify improvement opportunities in internal control, risk management and leveraging standard functionality to help drive efficiency through automation

  • Perform pre-implementation reviews and partner with the business to provide advice and recommendations on internal control and risk management

  • Assist with implementation and ongoing management of a user access control framework within EMEA, consisting of: SAP user access governance, user access procedures, role modelling and management, SOD conflict definition and management, user access control review procedures and use of IAM and GRC technology

  • Work closely with auditors, internal and external, and with management on special projects, perform technical security & privacy control reviews, preparation and testing for SOX, SOC2 and other compliance standards as required

  • Proactively develop effective, collaborative working relationships throughout the organization with finance, business, IT, internal audit and other corporate areas


Your Qualifications and Experience:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Accounting or related field

  • 8+ years’ experience, i.e. IT Audit, SAP and JDE application experience with progressive responsibility

  • SAP and CISA certifications required, other certifications preferred: (i.e. CA, CPA, CIA, CISSP)

  • Experience auditing Cloud systems, Databases (HANA, SQL, Oracle)

  • Experience with security and privacy reviews and standards

  • Public Accounting Big 4 Audit experience highly desired; Consulting experience with direct referrals also given consideration

  • Functional and technical knowledge of SAP and JDE and the different modules (FICO, SD, PM, PP, MM, SAP BW, SAP BI/BOBJ, SAP GRC and other applications

  • Knowledge of US GAAP, COSO, SOX, HIPAA requirements, including PCAOB

  • Knowledgeable of data interrogation tools or SQL and Data Reporting skills

  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to provide business and risk management consult up to senior management

  • Excellent command of English and German, ability to communicate both orally and in written form in a clear and concise manner


Travel Requirements:

Up to 50%. Global travel required.
