If you’re ambitious, driven and team-spirited, this is your opportunity to build a career as a Testing & Commissioning Engineer (m/f) for our business unit based in Zurich, Switzerland.
In this role you will be working with experienced teams, at customer sites in Switzerland, Europe, or overseas and you will be having adequate on the job training. The purpose of the role is the technical support on railway vehicles during the verification and homologation phase and the fleet implementation at customer site, as well as the support of commercial service and warranty activities.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Compile the necessary inspection constructions, test specifications, test records;
• Prepare and accomplish routine tests;
• Procure the necessary test equipment;
• Set up and assist the measurements and type testing on customer site;
• Fault diagnostics and repair on the vehicle.
Qualifications
• Bachelor or Master Degree (TS, HTL or ETH) in Electrical Engineering or another field (mechanical, electromechanical, electronics and communication);
• Railway experience is a plus;
• 1-2 years of experience in test and commissioning activities is an asset;
• Knowledge of measuring and controls technology;
• Willingness to work in Switzerland and other foreign countries (the job requires travelling 50-90% of the working time);
• German and English communication skills mandatory.
