Job Description


At our Headquarter in Basel, we are currently looking for a Manager Customer Success and Operations. The role holder leverages available and also drives new innovative solutions to ensure on-time availability of our products and services and the management of respective operational effectiveness. This encompasses also customer facing, consultative activities to help customers grow, streamline supply chain activities and realize working capital gains.


The role encompasses all Straumann Group solutions offered, from implant treatment solutions to CAD/CAM prosthetics, to digital dentistry, to clear aligners including also solutions and workflows realized with external partners.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITY



  • Set up and manage the global supply and operations processes (forecasting, delivery, back-order management) for the DSO business with global logistics and the local markets

  • Program manage the set-ups of new larger DSOs (milestone set-up, quarterly reviews with DSO) from a supply and logistics perspective and support the operations of existing DSO customers (supply chain, forecasting, logistics, warehouse,…)

  • Ensure and contribute to the definition of CAD-CAM and digital manufacturing work-flows and align with the relevant production sites of the Straumann Group to implement and deliver our solutions

  • Discuss opportunities for optimizing logistics and working capital with stakeholders at our DSO customers and develop and propose respective solutions.

  • Optimize the ordering process leveraging digital solutions and process automization (e.g. e-Shop, EDI, etc.)

  • Define and manage the consignment approaches (e.g. e-consignment, RFIDs,…) across the different DSOs and continuously improve and innovate for working capital optimization (e.g. e-consignment)

  • Work with local Straumann Group customer service and logistics to optimize the supply set-ups where necessary

  • Ensure correct invoices respecting contractual pricings and implement requested invoice flow in collaboration with HQ and the countries

  • Support roll-out projects for larger DSOs with project management skills

  • If required coordinate any private label production (incl. Registration support)


Qualifications


YOUR PROFILE



  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business administration / or technical or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience

  • Strong experience and background in a Project Management lead in a medical manufacturing / business consultancy environment with customer facing activities is a must, ideally in the dental industry

  • Good understanding of our relevant solution portfolio regarding implant treatments, CAD/CAM prosthetics, digital dentistry, orthodontics, etc. and related workflows

  • Strong affinity for information technology and e-commerce topics

  • Experienced in operations and related digital technologies

  • English a must, further languages a plus (Spanish)

  • Energetic, straightforward and performance-driven professional with entrepreneurial spirit and strong commercial and execution abilities

  • Fast learner and passionate for operational excellence

  • Able to collaborate with customers in a consultative approach with a problem solving mindset

  • Able to create alignment and operate in a cross-functional environment

  • Proactive and pragmatic person with outstanding interpersonal skills to cultivate a network of effective working relationships in an international matrix environment
