  • You and exciting and challenging role in IWM First Line of Defense Support ("FLDS"). Part of the Bank's PB IWM Chief of Staff COO Organisation

  • The key responsibility of FLDS is to support IWM Chief of Staff Business Area, helping it embed and maintain a robust culture which is the basis for a sustainable and compliant operation

  • You the chance to join a dynamic and motivated team with the overall purpose to strengthen and cultivate a positive risk culture within the IWM CoS Business Area

  • Work collaboratively with IWM Marketing, Strategic Client Office, Internal Communications, CEO Office and other key partners (e.g. IWM FLDS, Legal, Compliance, Data Handling, Sourcing and other business partners) and you will act as a subject matter expert on the topics under your care

  • You will handle and oversee risk management topics across IWM CoS

  • Support management in identifying, preventing and handling the risks resulting from internal processes, people, systems or external events

  • The accountability to perform Control & Monitoring tasks with in-depth understanding of underlying process controls (MICOS)

  • Monitor of regulatory and legal developments and identifying potential impact on the organization and raise awareness with impacted areas to ensure timely adaptation

  • The opportunity to design of the holistic risk framework in terms of risk identification, measurement and reporting incl. key risk indicators

  • Responsibility for specific topics and ad-hoc queries to provide management with an opinion on involved Investment, regulatory and/or operational risks

  • Supporting of strategic change initiatives and projects, by actively providing high quality advisory services to enable compliant implementation

  • Facilitating and coordinating ‘risk initiatives; including your participation in internal audits, reviews or regulatory examinations

  • You will be the point of contact to handle the BoD/BM Nominations process and its potential evolutions within International Wealth Management (IWM) as well as maintain the oversight of the IWM entities

  • Provide process advisory to requestors, applications’ senior business partners and members of the IWM Nomination Committee (e.g. involved GC, HR and CCO officers, Entity Sponsors, Senior Franchise Officers (SFO), etc)


 


You Offer

 

  • A university degree or equivalent education in an area related to business administration, legal, compliance, banking or finance experience

  • At least five years of professional experience in Private Banking or Financial industry

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a structured, solution oriented approach, combined with passion, dedicated and a “Can do attitude”

  • Astute problem solver with proven analytical skills who is competent with Microsoft Office with above average expertise in Excel and PowerPoint desirable. Good understanding of information technology a strong plus

  • As a dependable team member, you are highly motivated in supporting your colleagues in overall mandate beyond your scope

  • Ability to perform excellent business partner management and to build and maintain positive relationships at senior management level

  • You combine excellent interpersonal skills and client/service orientation with the ability to build long-lasting relationships across heterogeneous groups of partners with diverse backgrounds

  • Ability to work in a highly diligent and reliable way, within a dynamic and fast moving environment

  • Initiative to identify areas of improvements and gaps and eager to learn

  • Good interpersonal and time management skills, including ability to prioritize tasks

  • Excellent English verbal and writing skills. German is an advantage - you will be expected to articulate complex risk issues in a structured, concise, and effective manner
