You an exciting and global environment to work with the Data Analytics team within Internal Audit (IA), to apply your technical skills to help analyse large data sets and databases to support the IA team to lead and perform data analytics.
In this role the candidate will:

• Implement, maintain and monitor data feeds from around the bank into the Internal Audit data repositories


• You will lead, plan, perform and handle execution/reporting on audits by owning and executing data analytics based testing


• Apply and build data analytics tests based on walkthroughs with the audit team to assemble requirements and perform the necessary analytics


• Translate Audit business requirements into SQL logic and work to obtain the necessary data to implement it


• Build and maintain self-service Tableau Dashboards for the business users


• Establish and maintain relationships within Internal Audit across all locations as well as other control functions within the bank to build analytics solutions


• Proactively engage Internal Audit team to find opportunities to leverage technology and analytics in connection with risk assessment and audit execution processes


• Display your good communication, interpersonal skills and your ability to understand requirements from users with varying levels of technical knowledge coupled with effective problem solving, conceptual thinking, quantitative and analytical skills


• Help oversee the use of Data Analytics in the ongoing risk assessment and rolling out audit plans


• Assist with the integration of continuous risk monitoring and auditing into overall audit program


• Open to discussing flexible/agile working

 

You Offer

 

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or another quantitative field.


• Relevant experience in consulting or the finance/banking industry


• Strong SQL and proven data analytics skills including: mining data, interpreting results, working with statistics, trends, etc.


• Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages such as R and Python; knowledge of Java, JavaScript, C/C++ will be an added bonus.


• Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc.)


• Are you experienced in using data analytics and visualisation products and technologies (e.g. Tableau)


• Experience with ETL technologies such as MS SSIS or any relevant ETL tools


• You are a dedicated problem solver with a positive personality and can-do attitude


• Very good interpersonal skills, excellent presentation skills and experience in writing report


• Very good verbal and written level of German and English languages with the ability to effectively communicate with partners


• Shown ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise manner in both written and verbal presentations across all levels of management.


• Understanding of the importance of handling risk and quality on data projects


• Knowledge of good data management practice and relevant regulations (e.g. BCBS239) is a plus


• A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
