Job Description

As our new Head of Global Product Management Digital you will be responsible for the product portfolio of Digital solution for Dental practitioners and Dental labs. Furthermore You will lead the team of Product Managers managing these products. This means planning and execution of product launches, overseeing the life cycle of the portfolio as well as developing new products and solutions. By a thorough understanding of market dynamics, you will drive your franchise through identifying the best opportunities, and developing the related product strategies to achieve your yearly objective. The position is based in Basel and reports to the Head Digital Business Unit.

• Global responsability for all product and portfolio related technical tasks and topics of Straumann Digital solutions


• Responsible together with the respective team members for global launch readiness across all aspects for market release, including regulatory approval, product availability, technical content for promotion material and launch readiness


• Leading the Global Product Management Team. Provide together with the global product management team continuous strategic support across product lifecycle, incl. definition and initiation of LCM measures & campaigns


• Plan and monitor cost budget performance for product related projects


• Monitor market/product performance (sales, gross margin, Track market /competitors, track product performance/customer satisfaction)


• Ensure a strong collaboration of team members with Digital Solution Managers, in defining, developing and commercializing successfully solutions based on respective product portfolio


• Ensure a strong collaboration with corresponding lead functions all across the Straumann Group


• Ensure together with the development team the coordination, implementation, execution and completion of product improvements and innovations of partners and suppliers within the Straumann Group network

Qualifications

• Academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience


• Min. 3-5 years’ experience in a leading position in Product Management or related functions on international level


• Senior experience in managing product development projects and a proven track record in achieving objectives and targets


• Strong analytical skills and result-orientated person


• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, pro-active in cultivating a network of productive relationships in an international matrix Environment


• Comfortable in working within a fast-paced, international matrix environment


• Fluent in English, any other languages is an asset (German)
