Job Description


For our Headquarters in Basel we are currently looking for a Global Professional Relatoin Manager. The Global KOL Manager is responsible for the successful enablement of local, regional and international scientific and clinical influencers, considering the company strategy related to Mega topics and Must Win Initiatives.


YOUR RESPONSIBILITY



  • Identify, develop and maintain a wide network of strategic internal and external partners/Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to collaborate on projects, strategies and build confidence, trust and respect in order to increase Straumann’s share of voice within Dentistry

  • Support Clinical Research team to build a platform that elevates the Straumann scientific and clinical positioning, with a strong evidence behind the launches

  • Identify and establish collaboration with main market influencers, such as dental associations, professional organizations, clinicians, academic partners, etc

  • Create KOL strategies to further develop and solidify productive relationships at international level and as blue print for local implementation

  • Participate on advisory boards (Expert Team Meetings) with KOLs to uncover key insights to support future studies, marketing strategy and tactics

  • Successfully integrate industry insights and leverage strong relationships with KOLs and speakers to guide business and marketing strategies and drive top line growth

  • Collaborate with cross functional team members to develop and implement strategies in support of marketed products, launches and development projects, as medical marketing plans

  • Develop short term and long term strategies for KOL Development, for eg. Rising Stars or new KOLs coming from ITI, Women Implantology Network, Young Professional Program, Key Online Opinion Leaders, Center of Excellences, Universities and other channels

  • Develop a platform as a management tool, to provide key performance indicators, to track all activities, to concentrate all KOL data as curriculum, photos, profile, publications etc and a self-service portal to support the speakers

  • Leverage ITI in scientific positioning and work in the assigned Task Forces, events and be the contact point for section managers


Qualifications


YOUR PROFILE



  • Graduate and PhD in Dentistry, clinical or medical background can be considered

  • Experience in medical device industry in education and/or marketing (at least 5 years)

  • Experience in relationship management

  • Graduate degree in business (MBA) is an advantage

  • English speaking, any other language is an asset
