Job Description


We are looking for you as our new Head Global Training & Education Digital (m/f). In this role you will be part of our new Customer Experience Management team within the Digital Business Unit. The position is based in Basel, Switzerland and requires travelling up to 30%. You will report to the Head of Customer Experience Management.


The Head Global Training & Education Digital is heading the corporate Digital Training & Education team, which consists of training experts and educational program managers. In this role you will be responsible for the successful commercialization of our digital products and solutions from a training and education perspective. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in enabling our different customer groups, staff and speakers to understand, properly use and where applicable, effectively sell our digital solutions by using consistent, high-quality and up-to-date blended learning formats.



  • Strengthen the Straumann digital brands and drive sales through customer education


  • Develop and deliver the long-term digital T&E roadmap including educational concepts for both product and service related initiatives. Ensure a strategic and coordinated approach to T&E activities across all business areas.


  • Identify, collect and assess customer and staff educational needs


  • Define and develop suitable educational concepts (curricula) for each target group as a blueprint for local adaptation


  • Apply a blended learning mix with a special focus on integration of online learning platforms; and manage relationship and contractual situation with such third parties


  • Support various customer segments, including specialists, GPs, dental technicians, dental nurses, hygienists with learning pathways for their specific learning needs


  • Define and implement effective onboarding, new product launch and continuous refresher training


  • Conceptualize and roll-out certification programs for sales representatives and global T&E managers, and local trainers


  • Develop capabilities of online learning and assessment tools, and tailor learning pathways to respective skill level, to optimize classroom time


  • Own and continuously improve the global T&E process in connection with the global launch process with the objective to consistently deliver professional T&E concepts and formats that support the successful commercialization of our products and services


  • Build and nurture a global T&E community. Ensure best practice sharing between subsidiaries, regions and HQ


  • Enable different speaker categories to promote Straumann by supporting them with teaching content and material, and


Qualifications



  • Degree in Business Administration or equivalent


  • 10+ years of prior work experience in an international Marketing and/or Education Leadership role preferably in a dental or medical environment, preferably with experience in and with European and Anglo-Saxon or Asian cultures


  • Ability to develop customer and staff educational plans in support of organizational strategy and objectives


  • Ability to work in an international/matrix environment and experience in a comparable global, regional and/or local role


  • Highly motivated, straight-forward thinking and performance-driven professional with “can-do” attitude


  • Strong execution skills and ability to be a self-starter as well as flexible and able to adapt


  • Affinity with modern, digital tools and solutions


  • Excellent communication skills, as demonstrated in a multi-cultural and multi-lingual environment


  • Team player with open and positive attitude as well as a high level of integrity, commitment and ethics


  • Fluent English spoken and written, any other language is an advantage
