Job Description

As our new Product Manager Scanning Technology you will be responsible for the successful launch and life cycle management of scanner portfolio for Dental practitioners and Dental labs. This means planning and execution of product launches, overseeing the life cycle of the portfolio as well as developing new products and solutions. The position is based in Basel and reports to the Global Head Product Management Digital.

• Globally responsible Product Manager for all product and portfolio related technical tasks and topics of the scanner portfolio.


• Ensure global launch readiness across all aspects for market release, including regulatory approval, product availability, technical content for promotion material and launch readiness


• Actively manage product life cycles including launch and phase out. Collaborate with and support of project and launch teams during launch phase and lifecycle of products


• Ensure together with the development team the coordination, implementation, execution and completion of product improvements and innovations of partners and suppliers within the Straumann Group network


• Support Digital Solution Managers, Marketing and Trainer team in defining, developing and commercializing successfully solutions based on respective product portfolio

Qualifications

• Academic degree in life sciences, technical, business administration or equivalent experience and / or Certified or Master Dental Technician with experience in Dental CADCAM technology and industry


• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Product Management or related functions with focus on product life cycle management


• Experience in managing product development projects from concept to launch and a proven track record in achieving objectives and targets


• Comfortable in working within a fast-paced, global business environment


• Team player with open and positive attitude as well as highly motivated, straight-forward thinking and performance-driven professional with “can-do” attitude


• Fluent English spoken and written, any other language is an advantage (German)
