The role supports the functional business expert for Pricing in EMEA IRIS Deployment team and reports to OTI Pricing Lead. Project scope is deployment of IRIS Solution in EMEA, 18 Legal Entities, 24 countries and 1.6 billion Sales coverage. Responsible for tasks associated with Alcon’s SAP Pricing, Sales Rebates, Promotion and Commercial deals business processes. It implies business requirements gathering from countries and connecting with standard solutions. Highlights risks on these areas to the EMEA OTI team and strives for standardization of processes across the countries. Works in collaboration and alignment with OTI Business Lead and Pricing Expert, Data Migration team, Global Core & Country business partners to facilitate delivery of the divisional requirements.
Major Accountabilities:
• Ensures standardization, adherence to compliance and best practice sharing in EMEA Region for Pricing, Sales Deals and OTI Master Data in IRIS project implementation. Facilitates IRIS template adherence from the countries, the IRIS Core model approach
• Supports Pricing Expert for all newly approved business and legal requirements and highlights key risks and challenges encountered in pricing area for items on agreed scope
• Responsible to streamline the integration of Pricing Commercial Platforms (i.e. EnVision/CPQ) with IRIS. Align with EMEA Region and Global to improve transparency on Gross to Net calculation for Surgical and Vision Care Business
• Responsible for proper knowledge transfer to Affiliate’s business process champions for Pricing, Sales Deals and other Commercial related processes in SAP (train the trainer)
• Drives Day in the Life, Training and other cutover activities for assigned countries
• Ensures Regional data owners drive Pricing Data Migration as per agreed template, this might include direct training to local business data owners in country
• Within above scope of responsibility operate according to internal standards, external audit standards, regulatory standards and legal requirements
Minimum requirementsYour Profile:
• University degree in Finance or other business degree
• English fluent, other languages a plus
• 6+ years of experience dealing with Pricing, sales and promotion activities within Commercial organization, Region or Country scope. BPA/Business Controller experience in country or Region is a strong advantage
• Experience in Project management and Process improvement initiatives within Alcon division. Involvement over cross-functional and multi-cultural projects
• SAP/JDE ERP OTI functionality knowledge desired. Focus over Customer Master Data, Pricing tables and Rebate Settlement flows and modules
• Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to key stakeholders
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills. Ability to assess risks and prioritize items in stretched timelines
