We are looking for an experienced Engineering Lead to work with the GLM Engineering team and Technical Product Owner to deliver valuable platform improvements and projects for partners.

You Offer

 

 

You offer 

• You bring at least 3 years of experience in engineering and administering Splunk log data management systems, alternatives desirable for example Fluentd, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch/ELK, Apache Flume, Kafka, Hadoop, Solr


• You have experience with delivering engineering and operational improvements in an Agile methodology like Scrum and Kanban


• You possess software development and scripting skills like Bash/shell or Python and have a deep understanding of CI/CD and test automation


• Exposure to the following infrastructure areas are desirable:

  • Storage (DAS, SAN, Object)
  
  
  • Virtualization and containers (Kubernetes, Docker, RedHat OpenShift)
  
  
  • Public Cloud (Microsoft Azure desirable)
  
  
  • Networking concepts and load balancing
  
  
  • Infrastructure-as-code (Puppet, SCCM, Saltstack, Azure Templates)
  
  


• A proven ability to pick up and learn a wide range of new technologies and topics


• A solid understanding of service monitoring concepts and techniques, creation and tracking of service KPIs
