The Center for Digital Health Interventions (CDHI) is a joint initiative of the Department of Management, Techology, and Economics at ETH Zurich and the Institute of Technology Management at the University of St.Gallen. The CDHI seeks to strengthen its interdisciplinary team that builds and evaluates digital health interventions for patients with chronic diseases.Software engineer (100%) The candidate designs, develops, maintains and tests new modules for the open source behavioral intervention platform MobileCoach. He also helps to disseminate knowledge about setting up and maintaining MobileCoach as the community manager. The applicant must have experience in software engineering, system architecture, Java and Javascript-based languages and frameworks (e.g. React Native), linux-based server environments, the development of Android and iOS applications and application programming interfaces for server-client based communications and data exchange. Excellent programming and English communication skills (e.g. to conduct MobileCoach workshops at national or international workshops) are also required as well as the willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team and with interdisciplinary project partners from academia and industry.
