Job Description:Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Our client is aninnovativeindustrialfast-growing companyin the heart of Switzerland (canton Aargau).
For this clientwe are looking for an experiencedand innovativeChief Financial Officer (CFO) to perform effective risk management and plan the company’s financial strategy.
The CFO position is accountable for the administrative, financial,strategicand risk management operations of the company as well as the ongoing development and monitoring of control systems.
Main Responsibilities:
- Participate in definingthe company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives,
-Drive the company’s financial planning,
- Take partin key decisions as a member of the executive management team,
-Manage the accounting, human resources, investor relations, tax, and treasury needs of the company,
- Develop financial and tax strategies,
-Supervise contractor’s due diligence and negotiate optimum agreements.
- Manage the capital request and budgeting processes,
- Oversee the financial operations of subsidiary companies,
- Implement operational best practices, .
-Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks,
-Review and approvethe complete accounting according to Swiss Accounting Standards (Swiss GAAP)
- Report financial results to the board of directors.
- Construct and monitor reliable cost control systems,
-Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements,
- Maintain bankingand investmentrelationships,
- Represent the company with local state officials and clients.
-Set up and oversee the company’s finance IT system,
Requirements
- Higher EducationDegree inFinance,Accounting or Business Administration,
-Several years ofsolidexperience CFO, finance officer or relevant role, for acompany or division of a large corporation.
-In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management and cost-control practices,
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods,
- CPA is a strong advantage,
-Work experience in Logistics, Industrial Plant, Real Estate Development is a plus.
-Fluency inboth German andEnglish.
-Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (Imotop, Abacus)
