Main tasks
• Your main tasks will be to support the senior team members in their research projects. This includes, but is not limited to, support of our biobanking efforts, establishment of primary cell cultures and conduction of in vitro experiments (cell and molecular biology, including summarizing of obtained results) using various techniques, such as:
conduction and quantification of immunohistochemistry
cell culture (primary and cell lines) including transfection and cell survival assay
ELISA, western blot
RNA extraction, DNA extraction, quantitative real time PCR
• The candidate is also expected to participate in experiments with pre-clinical animal models, thus experience with laboratory animals (mice/rats) is required, preferably with LTK1 certificate.
• In addition, sample collection, processing and storage of clinical specimens eg. fresh tumor tissues, blood, secretory fluid will be conducted on a regular basis.
Your profile
• Highly motivated and team-minded laboratory technician(MTA or BTA)
• Experience in standard cell and/or molecular biology techniques
• Experience with small animal models (preferably LTK1)
• Good English and German language skills
• Good MS Office skills
