The Job

As Property and Technical Lines Underwriter you will actively support, proactively expand and enthusiastically optimise our business clients portfolio financial lines insurance. The Role can based in Lausanne.   

 

 

What you can expect

 

Your multifaceted role within the underwriting team involves

• Underwriting of all property and technical lines products, incl. construction and erection all risks, and supporting medium-sized and larger national and internationally active customers in Switzerland. This includes in-depth risk analysis, preparing offers, developing programme concepts, presentations, ongoing customer and broker support, and customer and broker training.




• Responsibility for result-oriented maintenance of customer and broker contacts for the acquisition of new business within the target segment.




• In collaboration with the team, management and continued expansion of the existing portfolio as part of the Chubb financial lines underwriting strategy




• Identification of customer needs and development of corresponding solutions.




• Implementation of the middle market strategy.

 

What you offer

• You are an outstandingly dedicated person and have several years of professional experience in the field of property and technical lines.




• You are familiar with property and technical lines underwriting, the related products and the insurance market, and you have expertise in multinational insurance programmes.




• As a result-oriented point of contact within the team who is able to work independently, you are used to dealing with brokers and customers.




• You show initiative, have an impressive solution- and customer-oriented approach, and value cooperative teamwork.




• French is your mother tongue and fluent English skills complete your profile.
