iOS Developer (Swift)

Job description

ElectricFeel is a Software-as-a-Service company providing the operating system for businesses to run their own shared electric mobility service. Our end-to-end solution includes a white-label mobile app that brings a seamless, real-time rental experience to the end-user. 

Join our team and have an impact on the way people move in the world's cities. With our shared electric mobility platform, we get people out of cars and onto bikes and electric scooters.

As an iOS Developer at ElectricFeel you will work closely with our Mobile Lead and Android Developer to ensure that our white-label apps provide a great experience while adhering to standards of the respective platform. Further, you will work with our backend engineers based in Switzerland, giving you the chance to participate in the overall product's direction and vision.

Tasks

• With the team, conceptualize new features for the ElectricFeel apps driven from the end-user's perspective


• Build new features independently or in teams that are released within 1-3 weeks to hundreds of thousands of users around the world


• Test out new app-features that interact with real vehicles using ElectricFeel's test fleet (electric scooters, e-bikes, and kick-scooters)


• Work with ElectricFeel customers to deliver new apps, gather feedback and improve the existing experience

Requirements

Required skills/experience/mindset

• 4+ years professional work experience in software development


• Deep knowledge of the iOS ecosystem, including its SDKs, the look and feel, and the device landscape


• Proficiency in Swift


• Experience with App Store deployments


• Experience with Git and GitHub development flow


• On top of software design and mobile trends


• Strong communication skills in English


• Aptitude for picking up new skills quickly when needed

Advantage

• Experience with internationalization


• Ability to read an Android project written in Kotlin


• Experience with white label apps, i.e. different builds using the same codebase


• Knowledge of Ruby on Rails
