Job Description


Lead the preparation of registration dossiers for agrochemical, biocide or human pharma products at European level and at member state level for EAS customers.


This position will have strong internal and external customer service focus together with a substantial project / process management. Specific responsibilities for individual position holders will be identified and agreed as part of the annual performance planning process. Key focus areas / tasks include all or some of the following:



  • Project Management: substances, technical expertise (depending on the background)

  • Relationship Management: internal and external customers, such as Authorities, laboratories, etc.

  • Monitoring and Reporting: registration studies, contracts, etc.


Depending on the candidate profile, supplementary responsibilities such as managerial responsibilities may be agreed between the position holders and the manager.


Qualifications


Person specifications


The successful candidate will be a motivated person qualified in biological field such as, but not limited to, physic-chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, agronomy, environmental fate, ecotoxicology, etc with a willingness to learn and develop in the agrochemical, biocide or human pharma sector and regulatory affairs in particular. Fluent in English, being in command of another language will be an asset.


Experience, knowledge and skills required



  • Ability to analyse, understand and research regulatory information, data and issues as they relate to the plant protection product, biocide or human pharma registrations in Europe.

  • Understanding of scientific practices and legislation relevant to Europe and member states.

  • Strong commitment to providing a high level of service and satisfaction to external and internal customers.

  • Ability to secure co-operation of others involved in and contributing to a project.

  • Understanding of the general regulatory requirements for plant protection products and/ or in the primary, manufacturing or chemical industries.
