As a member of the Technical Office team you will gain in depth knowledge about Stryker’s Trauma & Extremities portfolio. You will learn how External Fixators, Bone Plates & Screws, Surgical Instruments and many other products help improve people’s life.
Together we are responsible for over 7000 articles. We count on you to maintain our high standard in design specification. Conjointly you continuously improve existing products on their performance, manufacturing processes and cost efficiency. Moreover, you create and maintain fixtures and inspection equipment.
Through your expertise in design specification, engineering and metallurgy you support new product development teams as well as Global Quality Assurance and our international manufacturing site in Manufacturing Transfers and Sustaining Engineering activities.
In your field of responsibility, you will make sure that design requirements are met as well as apply the design change process and identify technical solutions in this context.
You are further supporting integration activities from acquired companies and actively participating in, and at times lead, cross functional teams to perform Non-Conformities(NC) and Corrective-, Preventive-Actions(CAPA).
Your profile
You have undergone a technical/mechanical education, are qualifying as a technician (HF) or graduate engineer (FH/Uni/ETH) and have gained 2+ years professional experience in product development/care.
Apart from advanced CAD skills (ProE is an advantage) you have gained experience in mechanical engineering including design transfer activities.
Desirably you bring experience working in the medical device industry and knowledge of the applicable regulations.
You are characterized by analytical reasoning, a focused and pro-active work style along with a high sense of duty and advanced problem solving skills.
You value an international working environment where you can use your good command of English and German. Good knowledge of French is an advantage.
