Global Head Labwerx

What you will do

In this highly commercial oriented Senior Director position you'll grow and shape our customized one-off system business (Labwerx) globally. This includes strategy development, implementation and coordination of marketing activities to create a long term sustainable business which is proactively driving solutions to meet the needs of the market.

Responsibilities will include

• Development and deployment of Labwerx strategic priorities to create long term sustainable business


• Ambitious leadership of the global Labwerx Business to enable the success of the commercial execution


• Achievement of Tecan’s revenue and profitability goals for the Labwerx Business


• Being the ambitious leader of the Labwerx Business influencing the organizations around to enable the success of commercial execution


• Development and standardization of objectives, processes and tools


• Continuous challenge and optimization of processes, key performance indicators and pre-sales support on a global level

 


What you bring along

• Technical education e.g. in engineering or natural science (Master or higher)


• MBA from a top in class organization


• Sales experience in Life Sciences or Diagnostics industry (medical devices preferably)


• Five to ten years working experience in a similar role for a leading life science vendor with global responsibility (e.g. Business Development, Strategic Marketing)


• Leadership experience (leading teams and working in cross-functional capacity)


• Sound scientific and strong commercial understanding


• Strong analytical skills to perform analysis of the market, competitors, product positioning and prices


• English is a must, German a plus, and any other language beneficial


• Entrepreneurial Can do attitude


• Strong customer focus
