Job Title : Casualty Pricing Actuary

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide actuarial and other technical analysis to support casualty underwriters in the decision-making process, in particular:

• Provide detailed reinsurance treaty pricing for underwriters with a focus on the European Casualty lines of business.


• Perform actuarial reviews and market studies


• Contribute to the pricing tools enhancement


• Participate on global projects teams where appropriate (reserving/capital model, etc.)

COLLABORATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES & REFERRALS:

• Interact with actuaries and underwriters on a daily basis


• Enhance understanding of pricing concepts and techniques


• Participate in client and broker visits on a regular basis

REQUIRED EDUCATION / TRAINING & EXPERIENCE

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• University degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field


• 2-5 years insurance/reinsurance pricing experience


• Certified actuary or pursuing actuarial qualification


• Good IT knowledge with some understanding of VBA and SQL-D


• Fluent in English a must, German or French desirable
