CLEMAP's goal is to optimize energy consumption. We are developing an intelligent sensor, installed in a house
electrical box, capable of detecting which devices consume electricity, when and for how long. The customer
access this information via a web platform giving him control over his home electrical consumption and
enables appropriate savings measures to be taken.
We are a young startup who wants to optimize the electrical footprint of companies and private households,
therefore we are looking for an

Embedded Electrical Engineer Intern (60-100%)

For the continuous development of our product we are looking for an electrical engineer passionate about
microcontrollers and embedded systems. You will work in our office near Bahnhof Enge in Zurich.

Your tasks
Your focus will be to develop, program and test an electronic board containing a microcontroller. You are
responsible for the concept, development, implementation and testing of a communication module hardware
(PCB) and you will get support from our experienced development engineers. In your internship you will
experience how a developer works in a startup environment and you will see how your work have a real
impact on the final product.

Your profile

• You have a background of electrotechnical engineering (ETH/FH) or have experience in the
  electrotechnical field


• Experience with 8 bit (32 bit is a plus) microcontrollers, with standard communication interfaces (e.g.
  UART, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) and with the development of embedded hardware


• You are creative, curious and open for new


• You work independently and have an efficient communication


• You have concluded your bachelor or you are close to


• You care about the environment and want to contribute to the Energy Strategy 2050
