Duties


  • Grow an Engineering team of around 10 engineers (located in Switzerland and China) to a mature a capable organization that can execute medium to large size industrial plant projects worldwide

  • Supervise and guide the technical development, design and standardization of a new and innovative process spanning feedstock handling, insect rearing and processing, including Mass Balances, Process Flow Diagrams, Technical Process Descriptions and Plant Layouts

  • Defines priorities, sets targets and budgets, manages risks and hires/allocates resources in order to achieve the global company targets

  • Establish, implement and maintain operating, engineering and safety standards to ensure quality project results and customer satisfaction

  • Drive the company development together with the management and support them in customer and partnership discussions
Qualifications


  • Innovative personality, motivated to work in a start-up environment, comfortable with rapid change and fast learning, able to think outside of the box

  • Bachelor/Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering

  • 5-10 years of Engineering Team Lead / Project Management experience in bringing medium to large international industrial projects to successful completion

  • Experience in Food / Brewing and Beverage / Dairy / Pharmaceutical industries

  • Broad technical and commercial knowledge covering multiple disciplines

  • Proven ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers and contractors

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, fluency in German is an advantage

  • Willingness to travel (30%) around the globe and openness toward foreign cultures
