An exciting role as Java Application Developer and with it a chance for you to become part of our highly motivated Risk & Finance IT Operational Risk Delivery Team in Zurich.
Our Team is part of the RF IT Enterprise & OpRisk. RF IT is an integral part of the global IT function that underpins the Bank's corporate reputation and are responsible for implementing state of the art applications capable of receiving quality data in a timely manner. Our objectives are to drive architectural simplification and reduce complexity, resulting in a stronger delivery capability.
You actively perform all major development, delivery and maintenance phases and activities of RFIT applications.
You support, maintain, operate and improve existing applications. Contribution in defect analysis and bug fixing according to internal methodology.
You will be providing engineering and consultancy on data, technology and application integration issues and contributes to best practices for problem-solving approaches, tools and processes.
You work on document defects, improvements regarding source code, design & implementation, data model, manual and automated interfaces.
Your position will be part of Zurich delivery Team and report to the IT Implementation Lead.

At least 4 years of experience with JAVA development, J2EE and Eclispe environment.
Profound know-how of JSF, JPA, Oracle Databases, SQL and Spring Batch Technology; fundamental UNIX knowledge.
Deep knowledge of Application Development & Design, Data Analysis, Data Modeling-tools: processes as well as best practices.
Excellent knowledge of MyIncidents Application functionality, and software design.
You have experience with Spring / Spring-Batch / Scheduled batch jobs.
You have a proven knowledge with JMS, general OO/UML, REST Services / WebServices as well as JSON.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
You are able to work independently and under strong delivery pressure.
Willingness to investigate and steer things forward autonomously. Genuine accountability for the end to end results.
Functional expertise in Operational Risk business processes or regulatory requirements is a plus.
