Role & Responsibilities



  • Managing the end-to-end delivery of all the applications used in operations (e.g. School), establishing and controlling project constraints and scope.

  • Managing relationships and communication with all project stakeholders.

  • Develop and maintain effective and proactive relationships with school users.

  • Eliminating doubts and misunderstanding between the business users and development team. Avoid or remove silos by bringing transparency of requirements, priorities and healthy discussions around the business impacts of project initiatives.

  • Making sure the features that have bigger importance for the operations are considered properly on the IT agenda.

  • Understanding business challenges and translate them into process/technical solutions

  • Recommending new and advanced ways to improve company productivity and reduce the cost. Recommendations can include process development initiatives and technical solutions to replace the manual tasks.

  • Coordinating new features delivery approach with the delivery team in Bangalore and stakeholders.

  • Coaching and following up the users to utilize all the existing features in the system.

  • Identifying the reason, a feature or application is not used and make it usable working with the Bangalore team.

  • Coaching the project team in Bangalore as appropriate and according to the needs of the individual project for topics related to operations.

  • Providing clear ownership and visibility of the resolution of all project risks and issues from a final user point of view.

  • Lead improvements to the efficiency and effectiveness of the project delivery service and contribute to the identification of areas of improvement.

  • Providing efficiency improvement updates to Senior Management in a dash board.

  • Pro-actively reviewing the service provided to customers and making sure that SLA is met, and IT is following a preventive approach and monitor and fix the issues quickly.

  • Formalizing his advices with periodic reports that can be used by the stakeholders to support the business decisions.


 


 Key Skills



  •  An excellent team player with minimum 5-year experience in product management.

  • Ten or more years of experience working in a technology environment in business domains like Education, Sales, CRM.

  • Well versed in coordinating and directing all phases of project-based efforts while communicating, planning, budgeting, staffing, training, controlling, driving & executing large-scale applications.

  • Good understanding about the business operations of schools preferably language schools.

  • Strong technical background with knowledge of software development using Web and Microsoft technologies.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server queries to allow troubleshooting of any system errors

  • Skillful in generating the ad hoc reports using Power BI as and when required for business operation.

  • In depth knowledge of SCRUM principles and good experience working with agile teams.

  • Deft in planning & implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting software.

  • Prior experience with distributed development teams, specifically with an offshore development model based in India or elsewhere in South Asia.

  • An engineering graduate preferably in computer science plus additional exposure to project management certifications like PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner.

  • Excellent written and oral skills to communicate clearly and effectively with a broad range of internal and external.

  • Work and cultural experience in multiple geographies, preferably in different continents, to simulate the experience of working with Schools around the World.
