GPS Global Access (GA) is the department in GPS that drives our access and pricing strategy, developing solutions and forming policies with the core aim to improve access for all. The Global Access Policy team drives our access policy strategy, developing solutions to achieve rapid, broad, sustainable access to Roche innovations.

We are currently looking for an International Health Policy Leader (IHPL) with primary focus on oncology to support our Basel-based team. You will be responsible for setting the global disease area policy strategy, objectives, plan, tactics and metrics for the assigned Roche therapeutic and associated disease areas; helping ensure Roche and healthcare systems deliver rapid, broad and sustainable patient access.

You will also be responsible for overseeing and guiding implementation and execution against the Global Access Centre of Excellence (ACE) policy strategy, plans and tactics across all Roche Pharma key countries, regions and affiliates.

  • Identifying and addressing needs for new or updated disease area policy projects to ensure rapid, broad and sustainable access

  • Developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of internal/external access dynamics, trends and requirements

  • Supporting development and continuous improvement of Roche Pharma’s Global Policy Community

  • Developing and cultivating long-term strategic partnerships with key influencers, advocates, champions, special interest groups and other policy stakeholders

  • Playing a key role in the business’s immediate- and long-term strategic, financial and operational success

  • Applying expertise to develop and embed disease area policy and project management capabilities across the Pharma Access Network

  • Ensuring assigned goals and objectives are met and that assigned projects and other work are completed on time, to high standards and within budget
