Behind every presentation of each product sold by Roche is the involvement of Pharma Global Technical Operations (PT). Starting with Phase I of the development process and continuing through to product maturity, PT makes medicines at sites around the world and includes more than 13 000 employees worldwide.

In this role, you will be supporting the group wide Nexus program. Nexus is an enterprise wide initiative across all divisions and multiple business functions, it combines process harmonization, system standardization and increased automation.

In this role, you are a member of the PT stream within the Business process and ERP roadmap area of the program. You are supporting the transformational change in Enable Make – Warehouse to implement aligned and harmonized end to end processes and related systems landscape as well as enable the necessary organization in PT. The change combines process harmonization, system standardization, increased automation and people change management. You are ensuring that LPS (Lean Production System) elements and methods are applied. You develop approaches ensuring single data captured at source-systems with a simplified and standardized data structure, supporting e.g. increased automation. You report to the PT workstream lead while ensuring close collaboration within the function and across other workstreams.

Your key responsibilities and tasks will include:

• Coordinate all activities to assure excellence in future process design („to-be-picture“)


• Work closely with the Business Process Owner (BPO), Business Process Managers (BPM) and Subject Matter Expert (SME) community across the network to define the core Warehouse processes, relevant enabling processes, master data structure and KPI definition


• Drive network adoption of standardized tools, processes and configuration given by SAP or SAP consultant as best practices


• Assure documentation of the desired state of processes (at the appropriate level) as basis for solution building


• Ensure people and process change management is at the forefront of the development and ensure the BPO, BPMs and SME community across the network are engaged and bought in to the “to-be solution”


• Support development and definition of the workstream timeline, scope and budget and support delivery against the milestones once defined

We are looking for the following skills and qualifications:

• Master’s degree in a technical or pharmaceutical field


• 8 – 10 years of experience in project management and project leadership; cross-functional and cross-cultural experience  


• Knowledge of SAP EWM and SAP HANA would be a strong asset


• Ability to deal with ambiguity and open minded to standardization, centralization and speed, can do (differently) attitude


• Ability to translate requirements into design
