Postdoctoral Researcher Position in Isotope Geochemistry

The Institute of Geological Sciences at the University of Bern invites applications for a postdoctoral research scientist in isotope geochemistry. Part of the work associated with the postdoctoral position will be the development of novel stable isotope systems and their application to further our understanding of the processes involved in the formation of the continental crust. The successful candidate is also expected to bring in their own research ideas.The minimum qualification for this position is a PhD in geochemistry or a related subject. Previous work experience in a clean laboratory, geochemical techniques and isotope analyses with MC-ICP-MS and/or TIMS is required. Familiarity with mineral separation techniques and modelling is beneficial. Good spoken and written English are prerequisites.
